Elisabetta Franchi at Cannes 2026- What happens when Italian elegance decides to step onto the French Riviera?

There are festivals you watch. And there are festivals you wear.
The Cannes Film Festival is once again , year after year , the stage where it's decided which brands set the pulse of international luxury. And in its 2026 edition, Elisabetta Franchi left its mark through four women ( two Spanish and two international ) who carried the Florentine maison to the Côte d'Azur with a flawless presence.

House of Magnum: when luxury becomes experience
From May 13th to 22nd, as every year during the Festival, the premium ice cream brand transformed the iconic Palais Stéphanie on La Croisette into a multisensory destination where fashion, design and indulgence come together under one roof.
Under the creative direction of Law Roach (Zendaya's stylist and the brand's first-ever "Taste Architect" ) the space hosted Magnum's first official runway show, featuring creations from eight international designers, including Spain's own Alejandro Gómez Palomo.
The finishing touch came on May 14th with the VIP After Party, which gathered some of the most influential names of the moment: Heidi Klum, with nearly 13 million Instagram followers and known for having been one of the first Victoria's Secret Angels, and Halsey, with almost 30 million followers and a global music reference.
And right in the middle of all that energy, Elisabetta Franchi.
The Spanish imprint: Violeta and Begoña
The first to leave a mark was Violeta Mangriñán, one of the most relevant influencers on the Spanish scene with more than 2.4 million followers. For the activation, she chose a white Elisabetta Franchi dress (the same style that Kylie Jenner turned viral just a few months earlier) An iconic halter-neck piece with side cut-outs and a draped skirt that perfectly reflected the brand's DNA: bold femininity, contained sensuality and tailoring that sculpts without effort.
By her side, Begoña Vargas, one of the most promising actresses of Spanish cinema ( known for the series Berlín) opted for a custom-made Elisabetta Franchi dress, crafted exclusively for the occasion. A choice that confirms the brand's current momentum on the international scene and reinforces the creative bond between the Italian maison and the new voices of Spanish talent.
And then, the official red carpet
Beyond Magnum, Elisabetta Franchi also dressed two international figures on one of the most coveted stages in the fashion world: the official red carpet of the Festival.
Claire Holt, the Australian actress globally recognized for her roles in The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, joined the festival's best-dressed list with an Elisabetta Franchi look full of elegance and attitude.
The circle was closed by Marta Pozzan, Italian actress and digital influencer based in Los Angeles, one of the digital figures with the greatest global reach thanks to her work with houses such as Dior, Bulgari or Kenzo, and her features in Vogue, W Magazine or Forbes. For her walk down the Cannes red carpet, Pozzan chose Elisabetta Franchi, reinforcing the brand's international reach with her cosmopolitan perspective.
So…
Can a brand be in two places at once without losing its soul?
The answer was right there. On La Croisette. At the Palais Stéphanie and on the Festival's red carpet. In four women with four different perspectives, yet speaking the same language: that of Italian elegance ; the kind that doesn't need to shout in order to stand out.
When the maison decides to step onto Cannes, Cannes dresses in Elisabetta Franchi.
And in May 2026, it did so.
